Aerial Work Platform (Operator Training)

Course Description: 8-hour Theory Class Followed by Practical Training

  • Basic Principles of Lift Truck Stability
  • Pre-Operational Inspection
  • Review Safe Operating Procedures
  • Pedestrian Safety
  • Fuel Source (Propane and Battery)
  • Writter Test

Practical Evalutation

  • Pre-Operational Check
  • Start-up & Shutdown
  • General opercational skills evaluation based on truning (pivot point), driving forward/reverse, driving with obstructed view and pedestrian awareness.
  • Load Handling, Securing Loads and Proper Placement.
  • Fuel Source (Battery/Propane)

Length of practical training can vary defending on the experience level of the individual and the number of lift truck certifications required.

Course Overview

This three-day comprehensive course will cover all legislative and compliance requirements to certify participants to certify and authorize on site employees on (name of the equipment they will get trained on).
